I believe a lot of people would like to know the quality of Shine's products. :hopelessness:

Lets just say it's a hit and miss and no customer service what so ever ......

A few of us have ordered from Shine before not once but twice but unfortunately even after how much we stress quality and concerns we have they still did not come through

Years ago we ordered 3 Shine Kei Office lower bumper. Of the three pieces one was completely off and will not fit without major modifications.
Fast forward to 2015 October we ordered 2 Shine BYS spoiler but this time we had long discussions with Shine and they assured us that all issues everyone was having had been resolved and that they guarantee that we will not have any issues.
After a long want and lots of phone calls and emails chasing after them and delays after delays we finally received both Shine BYS spoiler in March of 2016 and here's what we got.... I will let the pictures explain

What we received is 2 different Shine BYS spoiler. 1 in white and 1 in black. Both end pieces are shaped slightly different and does not sit straight with the body where the white one is so far off that I cannot even close the trunk.
The Carbon fiber upstand and the center piece of the spoiler are both different and even the upstand on each wing is different on both sides (which means spoiler not symmetrical)

We already tried contacting Shine but without any response. So for those who would like to deal with Shine in the future Good Luck! :chargrined:

Garbage... The wing doesn't flow with the car to begin with but the fitment makes it even worse. I can't imagine what will happen to this wing when 140 mph winds are pressing down on it. Thanks for the write up. The strange thing is that the shine front lips are great in fitment.

I love the way this wing flows on Teej's car...the most unoriginal thing is the NSX-R wing...

Brutal fitment, terrible customer care, maker doesn't stand by his products at all, and this was after months of delays and a lot of painfully slow communication where we stated before our order that we were concerned with fitment and he pretty much assured us that past issues were taken care of.

Shine sucks. Hey shine, hope you read this and make it right. Highly doubt it though, but you have a chance to redeem your self. Btw...did you sell one of our wings to a local guy and gave us a shittier one since you know we are in Canada?

Yeah I do not like the r wing much either. If the bys spoiler had a brake light in it I might like it. The problem with aftermarket spoilers of any kind in my opinion make the tail lights look completely out of place. Like rectangles leading to triangles that go nowhere. The Oem continues the line of the brake light housings and into the rear spoiler. Just doesn't look aggressive.
I sometimes doubt the "real" back yard special wing comes without fitment issues either. That's why it is made out of fiberglass. So you can spend dozens of hours prepping it to fit. Even the high dollar route ks stuff fits like crap and so does downforce. My Stacy rocker panels needed a whole lot of sanding, trimming, and filling.

I still love the Oem.

Yikes, that's really unfortunate... The BYS wing is the only one I would've considered over the OEM wing but with that kind of fitment I just can't stomach it.

I hate to revive a dead thread, but seeing as how it's been two years I'm hopeful things have changed. I'm trying to decide between the K-Spec lower bumper/lip from Shine or just going with a Mode4 Bumper with an SOS Vector lip. Does anyone have any recent experience with Shine and the K-Spec lower bumper product or am I a dope for even thinking about it?
