dead battery

what is it that draws down the battery so quickly when not being used,if the car sits for more then 2 weeks there is not enough power to turn over the motor even with a new battery

Alarm is one.

Have you done a parasitic drain test to see if something is shorting?
Aftermarket alarm?
Aftermarket Head unit?

It is pretty typical of the nsx. Usually 2-3 weeks will do it in for the battery.

Seem normal. Mine does the same thing. 3wks on new battery still die.. Stock radio, does have aftermarket security alarm. I park inside the garage and kept the alarm disarmed.. Now i leave the battery tender on it..

Common possibilities for battery drain are the "brake lights constantly on" - check grommet on brake pedal - would probably drain in <24 hrs though.
Secondly, a faulty speaker amp relay (in front compartment) which I experienced recently. Apparently very common.
