VTEC failsafe warning for AEM EMS

My turbo charged LoveFab NSX lately developped a problem related to VTEC operation.
As I'm using an AEM EMS ( model 30-1042) I got no warning that the VTEC was malfunctioning on one of the cylinder banks.
In the OEM setup, you get a CEL warning ( code 22 or 52).
Given the generous torque of the turbo engine, it was not obvious to detect the malfunction during street driving.
To correct this, I devised a simple electronic circuit that would warn the driver of a potential VTEC failure.
It consist of an LED per cylinder bank that will come on as soon as the engine goes in VTEC mode.
This is the test mode.
To avoid the LED flickering all the time you can toggle a switch to go in normal mode whereby the LED will only come on if the spool valve does not engage the high lift cams.
I will prototype the idea in a few days and keep you informed.
