Great photos THX!

that is the special Lionel Ritche edition.......oh what a feeling............

Met up with the current owner of my previous 97 NSX. Kind of wish I had not sold the old one after seeing it for the first time in over three years.

1997 vs 2017

Love this shot

This pic shows the clear lineage of the NSX across 25+ years. The iconic wedged shape is there, it's just modern regulations demands the NSX needs to grow for safety...

Not sure what you're smoking, but no, there is very little resemblance between the two cars.

Not that I'm saying that's a bad thing, mind you. As I've stated before, I think the new NSX is drop dead gorgeous. But with 25 years between the two models, there really shouldn't be a resemblance.

Whatever Pal LoL.

That side by side pictures sure reveals some interesting things. The new NSX headlight appears to be located lower than what I thought it was. Looks like it's actually sits under where the old NSX headlights would sit by about and inch or two. Also it looks like the new NSX front bumper ends about 2-3 inches lower than our old NSX. The front look taller than it really is and it seems it's not because it is taller more so because it extends lower.

The only modern car that I've seen that are really lower in overall height and fender height are the Huracan/Gallardo and Aventador. The Lambos get away with the illusion because they have an extremely short front fender, but the fender height is substantially higher than the old gen NSX very much like the new NSX:

It seems the NSX is as small as a mass produced sports car can be these days... The Corvette, 458/488, and McLarens are all of similar heights for roof and fenders/hoods in comparison to the NSX.

And it's notable that a front-engine Corvette has a low hood
comparable to those mid-engine cars. If you've ever wondered
why Corvettes still use pushrods, one reason is to keep the
engine height low (overhead cams would make it taller).

I didn't have much time to take these, and they're not your typical shots (more for the geeks like me), but I hope you enjoy

Not even unwrapped and already on the track. Nice job, TYRphoto.com.
