Seeking updated tips on tires for my newly found OEM 16/17" wheels. Being a bit of a purist, I was upset to find out the correct RE010 tires were no longer available.
The car will not be used on the track. It is my occasional weekend driver though it gets used as it's intended wherever roads are nice and twisty. Wet traction and longevity aren't the priorities. The most important criteria would be steering feel, overall ride and dry grip, and a fine handling car that drives the way it's designed to, like I said I think the OEM tires would have done just that for me.
What's recommended these days?
