Acceleration issue

So the other day I was driving and while giving the car gas in 3rd gear I noticed it accelerating as if I was flooring it. I recently installed a angus turbo kit but I do not think that is the issue since it hadn't done this the month prior.
Im thinking it could either be the cruise control module but when I apply the break it still accelerates and I have to tap the gas and break go get it to stop (kinda scary) or the throttle body needs a good cleaning.

Has as anyone else had this issue?
Any thoughts?

your car has a throttle cable..could that be sticking?

I don't know if it was sticking but I just oiled it up the other day and cleaned the inside of the TB and I hadn't noticed the issue again while driving home.

I second the doc. Sounds like sticking throttle body or cable etc.... Or maybe it is just a Lexus that accelerates on it's own?

Look for blocked throttle or air leak in the admission after the throttle.
