Use mothers brand "back to black". It did wonders for my hatch trim. Never had to use it on the chin spoiler cause it is only a year old. But it works and it lasts quite a long time.
303 works great, but before you apply any protectant clean the rubber surface. You will be amazed how much junk and debris will come off even a clean appearing piece. I use Adam's tire and rubber cleaner before using 303. This stuff works on any rubber surface and works far better than just soap.
Call me old school, call me cheap but I happened to be walking past my shoe shine kit (poll: anyone else have one of those?) and notice my sole paint. I thought about the chin spoiler and immediately grabbed the polish, dropped to the floor and blackened her up. She looks outstanding now. Cheap (less than $2) fix and I can reapply at will since I have so much.
