Hi Guys

I checked on threads and haven't found a specific answer of what i'm searching

I have a '91 complete ABS modulator as spare, into a box
I keep it in case the one mounted on my car will broke
what I am afraid , is the preservation of the spare modulator
it still has the brake fluid inside.
I ask if someone have suggestion of how to preserve the ABS modulator from corroding or contamination due of the presence of brakes oil?

what do you suggest for a correct preservation?

thanks, regards

ok
thanks guys

I had read the rebuild thread
It is perfect to understand the problematics and rebuild the modulator , but doesn't mention the preservation for storage
I was looking for more specific instructions related to the preservation

I would clean and rebuild is as stated in that tread with clean oil and grease. I would then put a light coat of oil on the exterior and then put it in an air tight bag and pull as much air out as possible. Goal is the eliminate as much air and moister as that is what causes corrosion.

ok
thanks guys
