Thanks for finding this

This is the car I mentioned in my updates

the owner was doing some spirited driving

he ordered a new one

looks to have absorbed the impact well and protected the cabin...Also interesting to note that only the driver bag deployed....

good thought....and I guess no side curtain because the impact was more frontal?

any know who won this car

i guess Acura passed on bringing it back to the PMC to practice rebuilding

Got more detail on that? Justin (PATCHEZ) who works at Acura Fremont keeps telling me that any bodywork whatsoever absolutely must be done at the PMC. I guess they only care to do it if the insurance wants to pay them for the privilege?

Its a sin seeing these like this. Same goes for the New CTR.:frown:

Passenger side airbags deployed, passenger rear wheel / suspension bent inward at bottom. Under carriage damage. Not other exterior damage evident. Guess: Medium speed oversteer slides rear end into a squared curb, hops curb and lands HARD on undercarriage/frame, but comes to stop straddling curb. If this did not happen in the wet, it certainly seems like someone was playing and got in over his head (Track mode and/or stability off?).

I believe this is the third wrecked car I mentioned in a post on June 7

The car that began this thread was crashed in the rain (recently learned this) and remains in Torrance.
The car that went over some boulders is at the PMC being brought back to life.

This blue one is missing the rear diffuser and exhaust. It must have been pretty torn up underneath to be a designated as a total loss by the Insurance company.
