Any 1997+ owners out there with shorter final drives AND functioning power steering?

I've been having a hard time getting a clear answer from more than one definitive source (thanks titaniumdave for helping with this previously!) — is there any 4.44 LSD out there that keeps the electric power steering system in the 97 and up cars? OS Giken and ATS are the manufacturers I'm considering, though the former I've seen reports of clunking noises and gear whine issues.
