Well the Costco battery finally gave up the ghost so I pulled it out and saw it was new in 7/08! My wishful thinking, mixed with bad math added that up to 93 months, still in warranty. Turns out it was 105 months old and no warranty. So for $74, I got the new Costco Interstate battery.
In ~30 years of owning cars, I believe this was the first time a battery lasted past its warranty.
