I don't have any plans to sell the NSX anytime soon as it is my favorite year and color.
holding on to your cars forever
thinking of trading for a newer exising model
waiting for the next gen car
undecided
Are you owners of early NSX's :
1) Holding on to your cars forever?
2) Thinking of getting a newer existing model (97-04)?
3) Patiently waiting for the next generation car?

I'm waiting for a new NSX with more HP. Either a turbo or V8 will do it for me. Then I'll get a new NSX.
OR, when I have enough saved up for a used Diablo. That of course is what I really want for a next car.
4) Impatiently waiting for more $$MONEY$$!!
That's kinda my situation. I'd love to keep this car forever, but who knows, priorities might change? With more money(hopefully in my near future), maybe I can mod the hell out of this one and buy another one also. Or maybe trade it in if I like the new ones. Who knows? But for right now, I'm not too worried about the new one cuz I like mine and couldn't afford a new one even if I wanted it!![]()

love the car and couldn't see driving anything else. However I am an open air kind of guy. Used to own a convert BMW. So I will upgrade to a new model Targa when I have the money and can justify the cost to the wife.

i would like to get a newer nsx like 97 + but there are very few selling in Canada.....(i don't really want to import one from the states because of all the hassles involved)...
next gen might be a possibility depending on there being a next gen and what it offers.....
if all of this fails then i will just hang on to my current nsx.....just like i have been doing for all these years...
unless something goes wrong this one i have is a keeper. and i may buy another one later on if financial stuff goes all well.
i know one thing for sure, ill be one of the saddest guy on earth the day i let it go. it may sound pretty shallow but it's something i love.
91 blk/blk - sold :(
hopefully get a new one again
looking for a house in San Diego? PM me i got the best agent for you.
I am waiting to get a 97+ for the simple reason of the extra HP and 6-speed.
I would rather save for that vs spending 2000 on the short gears and R&P.

This may be a moot point for me as my wife and kids have talked me into putting in a swimmimg pool at a cost that is very close to the price differential between a new NSX and the value of my 92.
If nothing else it's put the cabosh on further mods - maybe that's a blessing in disguise. Anyway, I've been haunted by that Imola Orange '03 I saw in Chicago and fantasies of the next gen car.
Lately my car has been showing annoying signs of mortality that
makes me daydream about a new X. Can't imagine parting with
it without an immediate replacement.
Since I just got mine back after an 8 mos down time, I can't see myself getting rid of it for a long time. Everything is all new and exciting again with it!![]()
Importing from the US is not nearly the hassle you might think it is... I know .. I've done it. If you're serious about wanting a 97+, I'd recommend you reconsider.Originally posted by NCC-1701D

Sell?!
Sell you say?!
Why the devil would I want to do that.
Hmm, well yes I suppose to acquire a newer NSX. Yes...Yes...unfortunately, financial circumstances will not allow it at present.
It costs money to take over the world you know!!!

My '91 NSX will be with me forever. It is like a family member to me. Especially since I just spent a stupid amount of money to get the engine rebuilt just so I could keep the original "heart" of the car when it had its problems (a used motor would have cost 1/3 of the price, and been quicker on installation too). My '94 NSX will also be here for the long haul. They secretly told me that I could not separate them! LOL!![]()
