I got mine from the dealer. Try Niello Acura where NSXCA members get a good deal on parts.
I just got an 01 NSX and would like to replace the rear "ACURA" name plate with eighter the 02+ Acura emblem or a similar style one that would be "NSX" in the 02+ crome style, not the 91-01 black style.
Are these available anywhere?

Sir-
I got mine from Niello Acura. you will need a "DEEP" socket for the wrench when you open the tail section to replace the piece, as the screws are very long. Just changed mine last weekend and thought I'd pass on the tid-bit to you.
Good Luck!
Neville
How much is this upgrade??
If you got skillz, you can do this yourself by heating the center tail piece, opening it up, peeling the black writing off and sticking an Acura emblem on it. Total cost, less then $20.Originally posted by votrix

If you go this route, make sure to do a search and find detailed instructions as I've only given a brief summary of how it's done!
Good Luck

Folks-
The above is a good idea, but since I am an oaf when it comes to things like that, I purchased mine from Niello for about $115 and bolted it right on.

Thanks for the info on the "A" emblem, but I also asked about if there is a crome "NSX" emblem to replace the "ACURA" on the back.
The crome "NSX" emblem would be the letters N S X, only if I can't find that will I go with the 02+ "A" emblem.
Hope this clarifies it.
Dan
I do not know of the letters being available, however if you take a copy of the NSX font to a sign shop like Fastsigns, etc. they can scan it into a computer and have the letters laser cut in Chrome Vinyl for you relatively cheaply.
