Southwest Region web site
How come the web site shows an ad for Time Warner Telecom? Did it have actual NSX related content at one time? It seems like other regions are a lot more active.

I don't know why the website shows an ad.
However, I would not describe the Southwest Region as inactive. There are two autocrosses a year in the Ventura County CA area, and a huge December holiday party in Southern California.
As for Phoenix-area activities, all it takes to hold a club event is someone willing to make the arrangements. Contact Mark Basch and Chris Willson; they might be interested in working with you on something in your area. If it's an NSX Club activity (rather than an NSXprime get-together), all the club members in the area can be notified, and you might get a good turnout. There are currently 25 club members in Arizona (20 in/near Phoenix, 5 in/near Tucson).

I meant based on the web site.

Does the club help in any way with the regional activities, other than notify the members? Maybe we'll just crash the California group's parties.
A monthly/quarterly dinner might be nice, to start with. I hear they used to have these back when...

The main problem with the Southwest region website is we need a webmaster to set it up and maintain it.
Well geez, if no one wants to volunteer then I'll take a crack. I mean, anything's gotta be better than a blank page right? I just know basic HTML and I ain't no photoshop guru, but I can throw something simple together.

Hell yeah, why should someone else have all the fun with my membership dues? C'mon fellow AZ members, let's set something up!

Hello, is there an update on the web site status? Thanks.

After speaking with scNSXgirl, it's my understanding that she is waiting for the username and password to access the web space in order to upload files. Having created some personal websites myself, I know what a pain it is to try to do everything through email. It's just not feasible if you're planning to include a lot of graphics and perform frequent updates. I'm not sure what the concern is with giving her direct access, it's not like Yvonne can't be trusted (after all, she did work on the latest NSX Driver magazine!).
If I misunderstand the issue, please correct me. I know we're all busy, but the Southwest region deserves something IMO. Heck, if someone will grant me access I will build a simple site myself.
Please, can we move this forward? Ken, Steve, anybody?
Thank you.
