Need your help guys...92 NSX I'm looking at

I ran across a 92 white/onyx with chrome wheels at a little dealer right by my house (Plano TX) today at lunch. I didn't suspect to ever find one right under my nose...but this could be a sign.

Here's the particulars:

1992 white
Factory five spoke chrome wheels(tires= mediocre)
re-paint nose with 97+ chin spoiler added and painted body color
stock exhaust
seats in good to excellent condition
Body SEEMED to be nice
Vin: JH4NA1154NT000882
mileage: 83,770K
asking price: 28,900
dealer said tranny was replaced under goodwill by acura for snap ring failure. (don't know when or where yet)

What I need to know:

Does anyone know anything about this car whatsoever? Considering the 60K is done is this a good price? If it hasn't what should I ask for? Can anyone do a carfax for me? Pretty please...

I'll check it for you, but the VIN number you listed is invalid.

I did miss a "4" while typing it...is that what messed it up? If not what is wrong with it...? I'm just going by what the dealer gave me. If it's screwy I need to find out...?

I would also get the transmission #, it is easy to get. This way you can tell if the snap ring has been done. Everyone says it has been done.

Unfortunately the whole mission has been vetoed by the higher power. Looks like I will have to wait. This car seems to be in really nice condition and would be a great buy for anyone looking. My hands are tied for now, but hopefully later in the coming months I can get around the all powerful factors that keep me at bay.

I contacted the seller (Auto Centrix 3340 Wiley Post Rd, Carrollton TX 75006) and it was selling on Dec 18, 2014. Damn. Been looking for a 91-93 GPW for a while now. Posted the updated carfax for the future.
