NSX scale models

If anyone is on the fence about the 1/18th Autoart model - don't be. Hands down, it's the finest mass produced model of the NSX that I've seen. Accurate proportions - super detailed. Doesn't appear to be "bloated" at all. Very precise in dimensions. Even the panel gaps are even. Underhood and engine bay are both very detailed. And the passenger interior is just nuts.

I paid $140 plus shipping so search around for reputable vendors with low pricing. Even so, I've seen models much more expensive than this that are less detailed and with less accurate fit and finish. It's definitely worth it.

There are a couple of areas that could use improvement but, IMHO, it's the best out there so far. And, to the best of the my knowledge, they aren't limiting production so these should be readily available.

Hi everyone,
I am a 1:18 scale diecast collector. I have about 75 cars. Only made by Kyosho, AA, UT and Minichamps. Have DC5 Type-R (x3), S2000 (x7), RX-7 (x2), 350Z Nismo (x2), Supra, RX-8, lot of Porsche (993 Turbo and Turbo S, Carrera GT, GT3 RS, etc..) and couples Lamborghnini.

Here the NSX now...

If anyone is on the fence about the 1/18th Autoart model - don't be.

I emailed Autoart regarding other colors, and here's the reply:

Three colors will be produced :
73271 1/18 HONDA NSX 1990(RED)
73272 1/18 HONDA NSX 1990(SILVER)
73273 1/18 HONDA NSX 1990(BLACK)

During NSX Fiesta (the Tochigi R&D visit specifically), I took the opportunity to have Mr. Uehara sign my 1/43 scale Zanardi.

What were the prices like at Pit Mini Car Gallery for those?

Randy, once I can stay awake and check out my receipts, I can relay the exact amounts. As far as I can remember, they were roughly equivalent to what you'd find on eBay. Provided you wanted to pay top dollar. ;)

Here's some pics of the shop. It was fairly small, about 10x10, maybe a little bit bigger.

Just put an order for the Autoart NSX. Hopefully it would arrive before Christmas.

I received my AutoArt NSX this afternoon. The detail on this toy is amazing. There is a switch under the front bumper to pop up the light. Now I am waiting for AutoArt McLaren F1 to keep the NSX company.

Need a little help finding a NSX model for my sister BF for christmas. Unfortunately all the ones I've been finding are $150-200, is this the norm and I can't expect to find any better deal then that?

HPI/Mirage just introduced an NA2 NSX in Long Beach Blue. Haven't gotten news of them being in stock so I haven't bought yet.

Quality looks to be typical of the newest HPI/Mirages.

Nevermind, just bought a Berlina Black for $159 shipped on eBay

I only have two. My dad had a 1992 red NSX like this AUTOart model. I've got a 2005 Long Beach Blue Pearl like this Motor Max ($13 from a Honda dealership).
