time for a high mileage update

97 red coupe, 155000kms = 97000 miles.

I bought it with 132000kms last september.... the original owner probably is the one with the most miles in NSX... when i bought this one, it was one of his 3 NSXs... since it come out in 91, he had 7 bought new, 0 miles...
in September of 2004, mine 97 was with 118000kms, his 98 (02+ converted) was with 121000kms and his 04 (3 months old) was with 4000kms...the other 4 previous NSXs were also about 120000kms when he sold them. i think 120k is some kind of limit to this guy... his 04 is now 2 years old and have about 80000kms..

My spider instinct sense that Sakura has reach 100K miles. Safely I parked her on the side of the road and took out the digital camera I made ready for this special ocassion. Her present will have to wait till January next year.

Kind of off topic, but do you think that one reason NSXs have such great high mileage records is because of the fantastic motor? Obviously...just the 94 Legend thread (same motor as NSX I think) reminded me of how well those old Legends have done.

Yup. It's miles since my speedometer is mainly in mph and not km/hr as I compared with other NSX owner whose speedometer is only read km/hr. I've also checked the route I'm using to work everyday with other car to confirm that my odometer is in miles.
