Problem with stereo, need advice

My stock stereo makes a very loud squealing sound when I go to turn it on, even with the volume turned right down. I was told that it is a blown speaker/amp. If one of my speakers was blown would it make this loud sound? Thanks for any input.

Yes, which speaker is the noise coming from?

The noise seems to be coming from the drivers side speaker but I am told that the psgr side speaker is blown.

I believe that all the amps fail at some point so it is time to repair all 3 of your amps. I would not be surprised to find out that your Sub amp is dead and you don't even know it.
