Ball Joints

Hi.
Well I am looking at having to replace a few ball joints. I called and they tell me that I can not just replace the balls. I have to replace the whole control arm in the rear. Does any one know if there is a way to just replace the ball joints in the rear? This is with our discount

Rear Upper $662
Rear Lower $292

I am working on a 95 NSX with 70,000 miles. I thought this might be of interest to you guys that have an older NSX. I hope some one might know a little more about this or how to replace them.

I haven't heard of a cheaper solution since the ball joints are only sold as part of the suspension parts and the market seems to small to interest most aftermarket companies...

I'm curious about your car. It is the same custom color as a wrecked-and-rebuilt one I saw for sale about a year ago...?

Apparently, the ball joint can’t be separated from the control arm without damaging the control arm in some way (I think there’s a TSB on this issue). I’m not 100% sure though.
