Question Re: HSC is going to be at 04' Tokyo motor show

Do I have a problem with my computer? I only see placeholders instead of pics.

edit: I see them with Netscape, but not with IE (both for Mac of course)

The lights on that HSC are MUCH MUCH better. They are flush with the hood, which IMO looks much better than the little bubble on the HSC concept. I do not like the side mirrors up high like that. The wheels are just too big too -- even for a concept!

The GTR looks AMAZING. I have no idea how the HSC will compete with a 3,5 liter twin turbo 460hp.

    Supra and GT... zzzzzzzzzzzzz....

I think the Skyline GT-R shares too much resemblance to the 350Z/Fairlady from the side.

Agree 100%... And to me, they all look just really, really bland and horrible. Not one of those bizarre space pods can even begin to stir the emotions the way a Gallardo, F420 or Porsche Carrera S can. There are no sensuous curves or personality.

I guess this new generation of Japanese "super cars" will really firmly define the line between Japanese car enthusiasts and the Euro car enthusiasts. To me, all of these cars look like something out of a particularly badly drawn anime and really only offer their technical prowess. The trend that started with the hugely ugly EVO and WRX seems to be worsening.

For my money, the MKIV Supra is just a far far more handsome car than that "Toyota supercar"!

True.. but the current Skyline GT-R looks nothing like the past 350Z Coupe..
I don't believe that it shares anything with any other car in the Nissan line up.. (correct me if i'm wrong please).

Maybe it's just me, but Nissan making the Skyline look too similar to the 350Z/G35 cars, cheapens it.....

Imagine if the next NSX shared the looks of the RSX or if the next Supra looked like a Celica... just my $0.02

Yes, but if the Skyline had a 3.5L twin-turbo, 460hp engine, I could easily overlook the styling similarities.
