"administrator has banned my email address" huh?

so i go to change my new email address and password, and click save changes, and i get that phrase pop up saying my email address has been banned my the administrator.

however i went to my old email and saw that i could still get email notifications from threads i have replied to.

anyone know what the problem is?

I think the admin doesn't allow generic email addresses, such as, yahoo, hotmail, etc. I'm not sure if this is your case though.

freemail such as yahoo, are not accepted. Helps reduce trolls. Is this the type you switched too? <------------- you beat me by 1 sec!

unc0808.. when I switched from my other email address to Yahoo, i simply emailed 'NSX Prime' and asked him to override the block, considering that i've been a member for a good amount of time, and I didnt just sign up. He took care of it with no problem. I suggest you try that

I had the same issue when I first joined Prime. Just e-mail the admin, and explain that you are not a "troll", and he'll hook you up.

lud told me he lifted the ban on gmail but i still can't change mine. lud, if you see this can you check again? thanks

Nick - I did remove gmail.com from the ban list (and I just verified that), but you are right that the system still considers it banned (which I also just verified). I do not know what the problem is. I have never removed anything from the ban list before so I don't know if it's a new problem or not. I'll look into it. In the mean time, I manually changed your e-mail address per your original e-mail request.
