One of the guys I used to rock climb with was an ex base jumper. He quit because a few of his close friends had died in the process.

I won't even cringe if these morons die in the wild. To jump inside a city just shows how reckless and lack of repect for other's safety and welfare. The NYC jump could mean some car would crash trying to avoid him when he landed.

i totally admire the balls on these guys for doing what they do,but i also feel sad for them.
they are pure adrenalin junkies,and they need to go on to more and more dangerous stuff to get their "fix".can you imagine how mundane everyday life is for these guys when their not jumping.
