This was one of the most exciting races I've seen the Realtime NSX in! PD was in front of Farmer (Z06 engine C5) until they encountered a lap car. Usual practice of the lap car is to maintain your proper line so that the faster drivers may pass you safely in a predictable fashion. However, the lap car, a 993 Porsche, swung to the right when he saw these two rockets bearing down on him. Unfortunately, Farmer took the left side of the 993 and PD took the right side. With the 993 blocking PD, Farmer was able to make a solid pass taking, the lead. PD was pissed! He swung his arm out of his car in anger. However, by the time he was interviewed in the pits, he was very reserved and showed a good deal of sportsmanship, which is why I respect him as a driver and individual very much.

Above-mentioned pass occured at about 35:31 into the video.

The backmarker didn't pull all the way inside, thus blocking PD, and giving the Vette an opening.

Hard to tell if it was an "illegal" block, or did the 911 take it in as tight as he can (any tighter and he'd lose it), and the Vette beat PD to the slingshot pass.

The results nonwithstanding, Great footage.
