targa top without engine cover -storage solution

This week I will be receiving the pieces I ordered for my targa storage solution. I have had my engine cover off and had to store the targa in the trunk when driving, risking paint scratches, losing storage etc.... My solution involves 4 identical, reversible aluminum blocks. each has 1 vertical hole through the block to fasten the block to the car, and a second hole which penetrates halfway through the block horizontally to receive the targa pins when the locking handle on the top is closed. 2 of the blocks secure to the existing triangle brace bolts at the rear of the engine bay. the other 2 require a 3/8 inch hole drilled on the flat black deck at the front of the engine bay. the targa sets on these blocks and all 4 pins lock it in place when they advance into the blocks. the release switch and handle are still easily accessible for easy removal. Since the top is not removed in inclement weather, I expect minimal road dirt problems on the the top itself. A shroud could also easily be designed to cover the top when it is locked over the engine bay. Is there any interest in this solution? the aluminum could easily be powder coated and made very unobtrusive, but the prototype is about $100 for the 4 pieces so unfortunately it is not a bargain basement solution.
If anyone is interested PM me otherwise I will just use the protoypes for myself and call it a day.

BTW... i do not have a comptech s/c but I suspect the vertical block dimension could be increased to easily accomodate the supercharger
