I would suggest a full alignment and front suspension check. You might also have tire issues.
I recently purchased my 96 NSXT and i'm pondering about my steering feel and would like to know if this is normal for electric assist steering?
The inital on center feels sloppy and very loose and as you steer the steering futher in the turn it feels like it stiffens up. Is this normal for the NSX?

Thanks, I'll get it checked out. The steering wheel is off center towards the left so I'd need an alignment. I just hope it helpsI'm running some crappy Yok ES100 with 225's front and 255 rears with 25mm spacers. I know how the Yok's 046 compared to all seasons on my Evo and steeing is much more sharp with the almost semi-R compound tires. Perhaps the car would feel better if i puchase the OEM 022's tires with the alighment?

You bet it would - it would also be better (of course not quite as good as with tires that were designed for the NSX) with non OEM tires like Bridgestone S-03, Pirelli P-zero nero (just have them on my other car, amazing especialy in the rain), Michelin PS etc.Originally Posted by gtr
If you then still want sharper steering feel you may try aftermarket anti sway bars which can make a huge difference.
