What is the diff between intakes 91-96, and 97+?

I was interested in a new intake to make the engine sound different. I was looking at the comptech airboxes, and noticed that there are two products, one for 91-96, and another for 97+.
Does anyone know what the difference actually is? Chris at SOS just put an ad up for an ARC induction system, and I was thinking of purchasing it, but I was not sure if it would fit, since it might be for pre97.

The only difference I can think of off hand is height to clear the targa car's cross brace.
