I'm looking into buying a hidden antenna that attaches to the inside of the rear glass hatch (near the wires for the window defroster). I've seen it on Ebay and I think it's made by AutoLoc.
How do I route the antenna cable from the inside glass hatch to the trunk? Anyone install this type of antenna? How do you like the performance?
The NSX already has an antenna on the rear glass, I am not sure how they will interact with each other but it looks like a Ebay piece of junk so don't waste your time or money on it.
Brian is correct. The horizontal "veins" on the rear window look like they are all just the rear window defroster, but in fact the top third of the veins are one of the two antennas for the stereo system's "diversity" function, and the bottom two thirds are the defroster. (Did you ever notice that the rear window defroster doesn't work on the top third of the window? )
I doubt that that antenna will make much difference in your reception, since the reception in the horizontal plane is likely to be similar to that of the existing window antenna.
