I just would like to let everyone know that in this months issue of Road & Track (April 2006) they have a couple of articles dealing with brakes and brake fluid. Look on page 124 in the Tech Correspondence section for some clarification on slotted and cross drilled rotors and the supposed cheese grater effect. Next on page 128 in Tech Tidbits for a complete explanation about brake fluids. Did you know that the first brake fluid was water? That's right, mixed with alcohol to keep it from freezing. Our newer fluids are not much better from those originals. Kind of scary in one sense but it works in most cases. Good articles and well worth your time reading.

I knew something smelled strange when I changed out your pads. Do you care to explain why your A/C smells like $h!t.Originally Posted by Hugh
