I was happy with the performance of my 98 coupe with Comptech Test Pipes, but I couldn’t pass emissions inspection, the pipes and bumper were constantly blackened by the exhaust, and the car idled poorly.

So, I reinstalled the stock cats and all problems were solved, but the exhaust is too quiet.

Will the Comptech Hi Flow Cats allow the above problems to be solved and produce a better exhaust note than the stock cats?
