    Rear Underbody Diffuser

is there anyone willing to make a copy of this product???

    http://www.scienceofspeed.com/produc...body_diffuser/

i think this one is good to go with the 02 rear, and it doesnt have to be carbon fiber, becasue i think the fins will break so easy across speedbump
as long as its cheap then i think alot of people will jump on it
any vendor here can do it!!! put me down for 2 sets!!!

the real stuff is good, but just not worth the money becasuse i know it will break so easy!!! i rather have copy cats!!!

go about it the proper way...

You're using one vendor's copy-righted website to solicit an imitation part to what they offer?

Ask 'them' directly if they'll try look into a FRP/resin molded part in the particular style that's currently in CF. But don't be so overt & blase' about ripping off original items, and worse- going about it in this slap-in-the-face-manner...

That specific diffuser would be very easy to replicate actually because of its simple shape. It's nothing special overall, fairly staight, and their carbon one is just fiberglass sandwiched between a layer of CFRP with a black cloth backing.

Diffusers do tend to get damaged fairly easily, you might try constructing one yourself from raw materials. It makes a good weekend project and you could garner the same aestetics and function for about 1/3rd the cost of the GT One. You could likley use the fins to help hold the shape until you get the second layer of material on.

Haha... that's funny!?! However, next time host an image from a 3rd party site/location; well, atleast when you want another fabricator to undercut the other on an identical item!

I am all for lower cost, greater available performance parts for the NSX. However, again- need to be cautious in how such is solicited and initiated!

    I don't see myself buying a rear-diffuser undertray... I got a heat-gun, sq. piece of lexane, drill, and black enamel / silicone-undercoating...

    Try this next-time:

Is there anyone out there who is interested in fabricating a rear-diffuser undertray for the NSX?

I'd be interested in it if it was made from FRP/resin, not CF or carbon-glass (due to durability & roads/driveways). In particular, the "GT-One: Rear Underbody Diffuser" style would be cool, but w/o the fins & CF.

    Thanks!
