    Sway Bars

Hello All, I have the Comptech sway Bars, and they came with 4 small, adjustable, black clips that appear to go around the bar.

My question, because they are not mentioned in the directions, is where the heck do these things go?
Are they spacers? stops/stays? I ask because there are none of these things with the factory setup.

Also noticed someone that had made spacers for the front bars to keep things from rubbing, is there anything like this for the rear, can those for the front be used in the rear? Can I just get a billet piece and cut and drill to my liking?

The competech bars say from 95 up, However I really need that ones that are mad like RM's old bar to clear Turbo components.

I think Dali had the bars made like RM's, but they are out.

    Hey Len,

Would the OEM rear bar clear all the stuff in the way? If so you might want to think about putting that one back on, I run the Comptech bars front and rear and the rear bar set to the softest setting is still a little stiff for me, with all that extra power pushing the front, and your larger tire sizes in the rear you may need to be even softer, I have my OEM bars somewhere if you do not have your's and want to try. As for the black things, take a pic and post, I am not sure what you are describing but I do not remember any little black pieces/clips on mine.

I see what your saying, and yes the factory clears.
I have a Targa so I am hoping to stiffen things up a bit.
I have the bars, I just want to do some experimenting at the next track event, being that they are a quick change.
I am partial to stiffness due to the 911 background.

Did you install the Bar clamps from Titanium Dave?
If so How do you like them, as far as fit and finish?

They clips help the sway bar to keep them in place and not slide. Dali has them welded as collars. Al Terpak actually makes a better product, see here:

    Re: Sway Bars

Woops!!!! I meant to post it on my own thread, I think it is relevant on both, if not Delete the other.

Do you think I will rub???

This is the position on both shocks, about 1/32 of an inch

    This is the upward angle.
There is about 1/16th between the bar and this hose.

If I screwed up tell me.
    Thanks
