Optimist: The glass is half-full

Engineer: The glass is the wrong size
Well,
I haven't seen my NSX in a while because I was getting some work done. I just picked it up on Friday. We (my NSX and I) now have the Taitec GT Lightweight exhaust, re-dyed carpets, reconditioned leather, a new ignition switch, a new chin spoiler, and a re-sprayed nose. We're very happy to be back together.
It's funny how much work I get done to my car, but I have this problem. If it doesn't work perfectly, it bothers the heck out of me. Any other engineers out there with this problem? It's exceedingly expensive.

I'm not an engineer, but I do have a strong urge to keep my NSX in as close to perfect mechanical condition as possible.Originally Posted by slashmatt
As for the apperance, I can resist. My car is a daily driver with more than its share of paint flaws and I'm okay with that. Barely. It still looks great if you take a few steps back and it runs perfectly.![]()
