rear fog lamp? JDM? Euro?

I was wondering which cars came with the rear fog lamp and which side was it located on? Where was it located for that matter? I was thinking about fixing one up for my usdm car, since I bought the switch. Thanks very much in advance

The JDM NSX does not have a rear fog light. The UK version has for sure, it is located on the right hand side in place of the reverse light, so you only have 1 white reverse light instead of 2.

I took my JDM NSX from Tokyo to the UK year ago and had to modify the rear assembly to get it through the MOT test, we took one of the brake lights and fitted a brighter bulb that was wired up to the console and could be turned on or off like that, left the 2 reverse lights and removed the bulb for the brakes on the inner left side.

A proper Euro foglight is placed on the lefthand side. It does use a different taillight though.
The switch is in the place where the US-cars have the cointray, together with 3 other Euro specific switches, togther with the switch for the front fogs, headlight level adjusment and headlight washers.

jdm has no fog lights... in the UK we need them, so i have wired the inner most brake bulbs thru a relay, so i still have all the brake /side lights i had originally, just the inner 2 can be overridden in foggy conditions! and I still get to keep the 2 reversing lights!

at least the UK spec cars had the fog light integrated into the light cluster, as opposed to the UK spec 5th gen prelude which involved cutting a hole and just slapping it in the bumper!!!

Regarding whether the rear fog lamp is on the right or left side of the car - in Europe, it's on the driver's side. So in the UK it's on the right side and in continental Europe it's on the left.

I bought a continental European right side tail light and a UK left side so that I'd have yellow blinkers with two reversing lights and no rear fog lamp. Having a fog lamp on one side and reversing light on the other looks kind of unbalanced in my eyes.
