A friend of mine and I are starting a business up. I am sure that most poeple on Prime may not need us, but you never know who knows someone.

The company will eventually be a freight brokerage service. If your company needs to move goods, we can find you a trucker to transport them. Right now we are in the start up stage and the only service we can offer is a load finding service. If you are trucker and are in between loads, we can find cargo to fill your trailer. We hope in 6 months or so to be up and running with full services.

20 years experience in construction, finishing, and installing, high-end commercial interior wood doors. Also bulletproof, radiation-proof (lead), fire-proof, and soundproof doors. Pretty much any door or wood finishing questions, I have your answer!

I am now the national warranty/field tech for the company.

Also HPDE instruction, NSX wheel guru, and discount aftermarket parts supplier for NSX's.

I am a Forensic Biomechanical Engineer and Accident Reconstructionist. I mostly analyze auto and motorcycle accidents. If you are involved in one and need some answers as to the who, what, where, when and why of an accident I can help.

hey Gene by looking at my car's damage can u tell me how fast they are going when they hit me when i am at a dead stop?

any way back to the point: any one interested in comptech parts & DC parts for NSX let me know. sorry supercharger are all sold out i am in the business of auto repair and modifications but since my back injury last year i havent been doing any of those, but any one have questions on repair or modification i can surely help.

If you know a family or friend or maybe even just an acquaintance who has recently been diagnosed with this condition, I would be happy to speak to them and give them advice on how to deal with the situation, diet, a thorough explanation of the available medications, what to expect, and how to care for it.

Not a problem. Determining a vehicle's speed at the time of contact is a pretty common request. Give me a call and I'll give you the "what for."

My wife's brother also has Crohn's. He to has been through hell and several operations. He does not have any medical insurance and the meds he takes everyday are not cheap!

I think everyone here knows what I do. I know I give lots of advise through PM's already and love to do so. Keep em' coming.

I do see being able to use this information in this thread in the future. Great to see the member who is a door professional. I may be PMing you soon as I am currently disputing a set of ultra expensive doors I bought for my pool house that are not what I was promised. Letting Visa work it out at this point but I may need a professional opinion before it's settled.

I will be talking to you this spring! My lawn needs some desperate help - it was seriously neglected by the previous owners.

I'm a mechanical engineer for a major oil equipment company. I'm typically involved in design, analysis, and troubleshooting on a day-to-day basis.

Unfortunately I have to be very careful about my advice as I can be held legally liable for it BUT I have been known to run stress analysis and design suggestions for custom parts for cars or home projects. I can also answer general engineering questions and even whip up 3D drawings/renderings and design drawings for minor projects. I have no problem doing it for free, either, as long as you're not in a hurry.

Advice rant:
In a few threads I read that people are using infrared thermometers (pyrometers) for measuring their tire temperatures which is fine. However do not use them on the shiny metal brake disks as they are highly reflective in the visual and infrared spectrum. You will end up measuring quite a bit of the surroundings (which is reflected by the disk). Use a nice contact thermometer instead or point your pyrometer at the rusty, unreflective bit.

I am an electrical engineer and work for a SCADA(remote contol and data acquisition) company which performs work for oil&gas pipeline companies.
When a pipeline bursts, our systems isolate the section by remotely closing valves.

On the side, I own a company which does control and data acquisition for vehicles. GPS tracking, unlock your doors with a text message, etc

Dont ask me how to fix your broken clock radio as the response is always the same: By a new one for $5 at walmart!

Do ask me about telecommunications, cellular modems, remote terminal units(RTU), flow computers, protocols, GPS
