NSX on the Tail of the Dragon

From this weekend, 11/11/2007. First time I have ever driven the Tail of the Dragon (wish I'd taken my CBR900RR while I had it...).

Didn't get to meet the lady and gentleman in the red NSX.

Man, that looks Gorgeous.
We ought to start getting a yearly getogether over there to enjoy the fall leaves like the S2000 group.

Actually, we saw exactly ZERO law enforcement while we were making runs. (Knock on asphalt...)

Truth be told, while it is possible to build up some speed (60 mph +, so I've been told...) on the straights and a few of the esses, the Dragon is quite a bit of fun at or reasonably near the posted limit of 35 mph anyways.

A group outing would be a great time - and I think this time frame worked out really well (1st or 2nd weekend in November). The trees were all changing colors, chilly but not brutally cold, low traffic volume, LEO's seemed to be elsewhere.
