hey guys i just bought a house out in corona and the pool needs a acid wash!! I was just wondering if any of you guys are pool specialist?? Or even could help me out with some tips or even come out and do it for me before another takes advantage of me.. fyi the pool has been empty for about 2 month and the home was built in 05.

you should go to the yellow pages and look for local mom & pops operated pool supply store. these places usually have pool services and they can tell you how much for the service that you need done for your pool.
a pool guy once told me that NOT to fill/empty out your pool around the rainy season (like now) beacuse the surrounding earth is soft and more chance of your pool shifting. don't know if it's bs but sounds logical to me.

Acid washing is pretty straightforward and relatively easy. You'll want to buy a throwaway nylon push broom and a few scrubbing brushes, along with a few pairs of dishwashing gloves.
Talk to your local pool supply store about the process, rent or buy a good breather mask and pool drain pump, and check with the city WRT the local laws for disposal. The last house I had, we were able to pump the waste (The acidity goes away during interaction with the calcium deposits) right into our sewer clean out.
