Me and a friend is campaigning a civic. He did the first race last month. I should be going to WS in 3 weeks time.
If you thinking on the NSX, you need to add 300 lbs of balast on your car. The min weight for the NSX is 2900 lbs.

Andrie,
where do I get info besides what is posted on the NASA site?
Our car is ~2950 with driver depending upon fuel load. I think the only thing I need to do id go back to the OEM calipers.

Greg,
they weigh your car when you finish the race. So your car should meet the weight then.
The rules are not really clear yet, and not enforced yet. We are trying to comply witht he rules as much as we can. But currently all our competition are USTCC car, which has more power than our civic and weigh about 200 lbs less.
Our Civic has stock ITR motor, and weigh at 2250 lbs.
You told me your car weigh 2800 with driver at OTC. Did you add more weight since?
The website your posted is the only info available through the web. I know it is very crude. Try to contact John Lindsey or Ryan Flaherty about the SoCal region. It would be cool to see the NSX in Honda Challenge.
This looks very interesting, I would love to participate or watch something like this, but unfortunately, my schedule wouldn't permit me neither. Hey, Supercharged and Andrie, how well do you guys think you would do in this event? Are all or most of the participating drivers also went through OTC like you guys? Good luck, gentlemen.
