Are there any Midwest NSX owners here?

Just seeing what kind of company I am in. I think there's 2 here in Grand Rapids but I've only seen one '91-'94 red/black around town. It's really depressing to be from Dallas where you might see 4 a week to moving up here and seeing just one and on top of that, nobody even knows what it is.

There's a good number of NSX owners in the Chicagoland area. My friend has 4 friends that own NSXs, plus 1 more including me.

Hi Jim, cool deal. I'm in the progress of organizing a Midwest Honda-Acura meet for Honda-Acura.net and Honda-Tech.com sometime in May. We do have some NSX owners but I dont think any are in the Midwest. Anyway, let me know if you are interested because it would be a favor and a half if some of you guys could show up.

Join the NSX Club of America (see www.nsxca.org (http://www.nsxca.org) for more info). The club has over 100 members in the Midwest, including 35 in the Chicago area and 3 in western Michigan. There are a lot of activities, including a recent wine-tasting dinner, monthly meetings, and track events where members of the club get preference in registration.

I dont know why I didnt think of that in the first place. I am about to sell my GSR and look to buy a '91-'93 NSX. Do you know of any places online where i could possibly get a great deal? Right now I'd be happy with just about anything because I dont have a lot of $$$ but the '91-'93 is most affortable and its been my dream car since it came out in '91.

Yo Teej: I live in Del Mar and just bought a 95 NSX-T with 4,100 miles in Raleigh NC using Auto Trader ad. Go look on Auto Trader at http://www.autotrader.com/ , then go look at Cars.com at http://www.cars.com/carsapp/national/?srv=adlocator&act=index&ft=1&tf=/quick_usedforsale-index.tmpl, then go look at NSX Prime at http://www.nsx.net/nsx/nsx.html&ti=Acura+NSXchange+Web&top= , then go look at Special Car.com at http://specialcar.com/index.html. These four sites are fantastic for finding NSXs. Best luck.

The NSX is a very reliable car but you will still need to spend money on maintenance (like all cars), tires (they wear out quickly), and the occasional repair. If you can't afford to spend $2K when the clutch goes, you probably shouldn't buy the car.
