Not a whole lot new, but here is their take on the motor.

"Although its styling will ultimately determine the car's success or failure on the world stage, what lies beneath that exterior is what has the industry buzzing. ( I didn't know anyone was buzzing about the powerplant of this car... )

"We hear the engine will be in the 3.5 to 3.8 liter range.

Credible sources put the real power output of the NA v6 at more than 350; others think it could be as high as 380!. If Honda wants to be compared with Ferrari and Porsche, as one engineer openly admists, the NSX will need to make at least 350 HP.

So let's hope they know more than anyone else so far.

380 would be a pretty large improvement. -- but still not 400.

They also said the final styling will look a little less like a ferrari... (personally i love it). They dont like the B-pillar (me neither).

No mention of weight AT ALL.

Personally, I think the B-pillar is just plain WEIRD. I'm not too big on the rear either, but I could live with it as long they do something to the B-pillar.

they should have renamed this forum to "rumour forum" :D

i heard the new engine would be in the 3-6litre range, V6-12... 300-600hp... :p

We'll know what it has when Honda tells us.
