I just talked with Bose regarding the process for speaker repair and she asked that I update NSXPrime members with the latest contact info. No longer do we contact Tim or Marilyn.

The process is different than what I read. To return a bad speaker, call Patty at the above number and get a return authorization sent to you. Once received, you can mail in the speakers to the address on the RA. No longer do they just have you mail the speakers in.

The cost is still $75 per amp/speaker, and with shipping it is only $79.45. They used to quote 4-6 weeks turn around, but said normal turn around time is 1-2 weeks.

I just called Bose, they warranty Parts & Labor for 1 year on this speaker repair. But the tech did state that the speaker should last the life of the car, once repaired.

I guess that would be a fair statement considering mine lasted 13 years, another 13 years would be 26, well past the lifetime of 95% on the cars on the road.
