Can any one comment on an oil weight for my 94 NSX. I think it
should be 10-30, however I requested Mobil One, and the dealer put in
5-30. I live in Laguna Beach, CA. So the tempurature year round ranges from 50-90 degrees.
The manual only says to use 5-30 if you live in an area that never gets
above freezing. I just got the oil changed, do you think I should have
them put the the correct weight in?

Yes, and the correct weight (as shown in your manual) is 10W30.

Some dealers don't stock synthetic 10W30. In the future, you might want to buy some yourself and bring it with you when you go to that dealer for an oil change. This will save you money, too.

I would suggest bringing synthetic 10W30 and going back to the dealer and asking him to change it from the 5W30 he put in.

I had 10-40 put in my car at last oil change. Is their a big difference, if any? Should I get it switched out to 10-30?
