Has anyone heard of a problem where the c/c fan only works on the highest speed manually set?? Please help!! Otherwise, all other a/c and heat systems working fine. Just happened starting yesterday!

Do you have a '91 or early '92? If so this may apply:

Just happened to my '92. I see that there is a solution via the dealer but it looks like it may be expensive unless they goodwill it; but on my '92 I doubt it. I will be researching a DIY option and will keep you informed. Appreciate the same! Good luck!

I have recently developed this problem on my '94. Any other ideas?

I bought a brand new transistor and replaced it and it wasn't the problem. I heard the problem is that the ac climate control unit brakes a couple of capacitors and this is the problem it cost like $75 to fix. Me and my friend had the same thing happen to us the ac only blowing on high and he got a climate contol unit from the junkyard and bam it works fine, he never replaced the power transistor.

I see. But in my case the blower works fine when engine is turned on. I can change the speed of the blower and it is working fine.

When I turn the car off the blower shuts OFF then like in 5seconds it turns on blowing very HIGH. This is with the car turn OFF and the ignition key out.

OK, my problem is fixed. http://www.nsxprime.com/ubb/smile.gif
It was those pesky relays http://www.nsxprime.com/ubb/smile.gif
I guess after 10 years all the humid and weather corode them. I had 3 relays go bad at the same time. This was after a havy rain. I replace them and everything is fine now http://www.nsxprime.com/ubb/smile.gif

What relays? Did you take out the climate control unit and got it fixed, was it the capacitors that were blown?

There is a black rectangular box next to the blower. There is a low fan relay, blower relay and blower high relay. All I did was remove the realay and seen like a GREEN stuff under the relay. Then I open up the relay and I seen coroded coil and little moisture in it. I went to HONDA dealer and they wanted $14 for each relay.

$14 bucks for stupid rely was a little much for me so I went to juck yard and take out like 10 and replaced my all relays http://www.nsxprime.com/ubb/smile.gif for $10 Accord, Prelude and Civic share same relays.
