Looking for a reputable service tech or dealership to have my 92 60K service and waterpump/timing maintaince done. Do any of you Florida owners have any recommendations. Also curious to know what the latest pricing rates are for this (any areas). I am estimating in the $2000 ballpark for both (1200 waterpump/belts and 800 for the service).

You may want to contact Wei-shen Chin at www.nsxflorida.com (http://www.nsxflorida.com) he knows of a good independant mechanic in the area.

I used Fountain Acura on S.OBT. for my 60K service and I was happy with the work performed, just don't let them wash your car (that's another story).

Try Courtesy Acura in Longwood. They have changed ownership recently. Their NSX tech is Nabil Armaly. We have a good relationship with their service department. They will also provide a loaner car for you. Contact Vince Howard at vincet@howardcpas.com regarding specifically WHO to call at the dealership. Vince has his Zanardi serviced there and we have seen their technical staff at our track events.

Crown Acura in Clearwater (Tampabay)the NSX tech is 'the man' and honest.when I first bought mine it was in the range for a timing belt water pump. Mike took a look and said,no need been done.he could have said we can do this for you.I am not positive but believe the cost there is better then 2K labor included. call them.imo its worth the drive.
best regards David

At Crown Acura and Fountain Acura, don't forget that they give 15 percent discounts to members of the Florida Chapter (http://www.nsxflorida.com/florida_chapter.htm) of the NSX Club of America. If you're not already a member, the discount alone will more than pay for the membership dues.
