Does anyone have info on track events that'll be going on during next year? Preferrably around Chicago area...

Well, there are no road courses within ~60 miles of downtown Chicago. But you have the usual groups that hold events at tracks within a few hours - CGI Motorsports (http://www.cgimotorsports.com) at GingerMan, BMW CCA (http://www.bmwcca.org) at GingerMan, Road America, Putnam Park, and Grattan, TrackTime (http://www.tracktime.com), etc.

Schedules aren't usually published this far in advance. Events start up in April, and registration for most of them doesn't open until late February or March. Check their websites periodically to see when they post their calendar.
