How can I get into my last post and correct speling (sic) errors?

The line line with the "posted 22 march 2000 00:50" there are four icons to the right of the date/time. They are:

1. Read the message author's profile
2. E-mail the message author
3. Edit the message (if you are the author)
4. Reply to the message with quote

If you hover your mouse over the icons a box should pop up explaining what they do.
