Just a quick sulking story to share for the rest of you NSX lovers out there. I sold my NSX 11 months ago and I have to say, this 11 months was not as fun as the previous 2 years with the car. Im in a position now that I can't purchase another one at least for another year, economy and getting married, sometimes I wonder
I come on to Prime in spare time and just browse, read, and drool over what others are sharing. Im sure there are others out there just like myself and wanted to thank you all for sharing stories involving your NSX's. I am living vicariously through you all until I can put one of these babies back in the garage. Thank you again prime members for getting me through my NSX lull. Respectfully and thankfully, Joe

Now that is a great photo Joe.
I'd probably take my frustrations out by gunning down some squirrels with that 505 hp Tundra.

Hey Joe, Where ya goin' to?
![]() I have your photo saved ( ^ as above in your post). No purpose in you sulking, as you are equipped now to hunt down and procure another sample which you may never part with. It was dry (finally) here in Detroit area this evening and I drove my Imola 2004 out to meet "the guys" for a brief rendezvous. I drove home, reluctantly, as I was yet again reminded by the NSX what a superior driver experience it offers. NO way I wanted to return to our garage. BEST WISHES for you and the fortunate Missus on your upcoming wedding.

I love that half the payments comment!
The to be wife has promised an NSX after the wedding is paid for and done with. It would be great to have one back in the garage by next summer! ![]() The Tundra is lots of fun, lots of power and tons of wheel spin. It is helping me cope right now!

A few years ago my wife made me a good offer. We needed a larger car than what we had at the time but I couldn't handle two car payments.
So, she let me pick out the sports sedan I wanted and she took over complete payments of the NSX for a few years. Yeah, she is a keeper for sure. Oddly enough, I have the car sitting in garage and haven't had a desire to drive it in almost 9 mos now. I guess if I didn't have the car at my disposal then I might feel differently than I do now. |

That's a great photo and I'm sure you'll be back in a NSX soon. Sacrificing is hard, but it is important to be responsible and have your priorities straight. Your good decisionmaking will be rewarded in the long run.

I know the feeling Joe. I look forward to NSX ownership again one day too.
To be honest, the car was only part of the equation. I made a lot of lasting friendships as a member of the NSX club, and that was a big part of what made it a fun car to own. The NSX really is a passport for being able to take part in a variety of different events - local car shows, track events, import meets, exotic car meets - whatever your car scene is, the NSX fits in. It is a car designed to meet the needs of an enthusiast. Think of it this way - we would be depressed about putting our cars away for the winter right now anyway. |

Hi Joe,
Great photo indeed! Better yet, great NSX! You see, I think I am the latest owner of your car #3T000078, and it still turns heads wherever we go You'll be pleased to know that it is being well cared for and running great! We are located in RI. So take your honeymoon in Newport and come by for a drive. My bride came with me to Chicago to pick up "Nexie" and drive her home. She likes it as much as I do. Perhaps, that's why we have been married so long. She hasn't picked up half the payments though LOL. Email me off-forum if you want more info. All the best to you and your bride, Gary |
