The car was purchased in late 2005 with ADR wheels, RM racing exhaust, RM racing headers, and a Wings West Kit:

First modifications were HRE 545 wheels, 8000k HID headlights, Cantrell Concepts Carbon Engine Cover, and spray tinted tail lights:

Re: 1994 NSX Build Thread, 2005 -> Today

I declared I was done with modifications in May 2006, after having the side skirts refitted, installing a Zee's exhaust, and a carbon fiber center console:

But rethought that position when I was able to purchase a Backyard Special wing from a member here on prime, and came across a set of O.Z. Futura wheels (a rim I spent a year searching for on a BMW), and a set of JDM tail lights:

Re: 1994 NSX Build Thread, 2005 -> Today

After two weeks, I decided I liked the HRE's more, had the car detailed, and went to the car show promoting fast and the furious 2:

Re: 1994 NSX Build Thread, 2005 -> Today

I missed the performance of the lightweight 16/17 OZ wheels, so I purchased a set of SSR type-C 17/18 wheels from member 'lutura':

Re: 1994 NSX Build Thread, 2005 -> Today

Went to a carbon fiber nsx-r wing, painted the SSR's flat black, installed a GT-one F1 v5.1 and installed a Gruppe M supercharger in January 2007, and thought I was done for sure:

Then I installed a Taitec GT wing, along with a bumper sticker, and JDM type R tail lights (OEM black H emblem) - car also had Advance (Flat Out) coil overs installed at this point:

Re: 1994 NSX Build Thread, 2005 -> Today

The supercharger was acting up, and based on advice from autowave I decided to scrap it... I ordered a turbo kit from HP performance, and while waiting for the box I talked with Gruppe M, and discovered the issue with my supercharger was minor, and easily corrected. It was too late to cancel the turbo order, so I sold the supercharger, and installed the turbo:

Interior was different, with different console, pioneer AVIC D3, momo wheel, etc.

Re: 1994 NSX Build Thread, 2005 -> Today

After some discussions with HP performance, and Niguel Motors, several modifications to the turbo system were made:

Boost was lowered to 8psi, and the car went to Powertrain Dynamics:

Car ended up at 382.5rwhp and 283rwtq uncorrected (previous numbers were SAE), with 2.0psi less boost:

Re: 1994 NSX Build Thread, 2005 -> Today

Drivability was much better at this point, but the car was too quiet, so a straight pipe exhaust was made; power increased to 391rwhp/292rwtq at 8.0 psi:

Then the VVIS system was disabled, capped off and left at it's vertical orientation. The car went back to the tuner, and made 418.8rwhp, 317.3rwtq at 8.0psi:

Taitec wing was replaced with APR GT wing (more aero efficient), and BBS LM's replaced the SSR's. Headlights were converted to bixenon, and 2002+ tail lights were installed:
