Joint Meeting NSX,FERRARI,PORSCHE

Last week I went with a friend and his 996 TT to Champion Motor Sports. When we arrived what we found was a brand new, state of the art Porsche/Audi dealership. Attatched to the dealer ship is an incredible service bay (check out the pictures). While there we watched as they rebuilt the turbos on another 996. We were scheduled to watch it on the Dyno but they ran a bit late. I beleive the magic number on that car was going to be 610 RWHP

I met with Bobby V. the service director for the dealership. Obviously we spent the day talking cars, as well as he gave us a tour of the whole facility. They design and manufacture their own wheels. By the way Champion Racing is a couple of bays down the road.After a while we talked about having a get together with the Porsche, Ferrari and NSX clubs. He suggested a Dyno day and would offer 2 pulls for 25.00 as well as having the event catered. We are looking at sometime in late October and are still ironing out the details. We will also bring some of the Champion Racing cars out to the site for display. Dyno participation wont be required, mainly a meet and greet as well as looking over Champions new facilities.

Doc , as soon as I get a rough estimate of how many will show, we can get together with Bobby and iron out the specifics. I am working with some of the 6Speeders in making this happen as they have quite a few active members willing to participate, so we can expect to see more than a few high HP "P" cars as well as maybe an Enzo or 2. Thanks for the offer.

Porsche-guy: The event starts at 9:00 am sharp until 4:00pm. This is going to be a great deal of fun. Especially the part when we spank the Ferrari's and NSX's.

This event wil start promptly at 9:00 am till 4:00 pm, with food, drinks, Tshirts and some give aways. As well as time to Dyno about 15 or so cars if anyone is interested. For all the Miami guys, we will be meeting at Tropical Park parking lot at 7:45 am and we will depart no later than 8.
