I have set up a website to provide daily summaries and photos of the events going on at NSXPO 2004 in Watkins Glen, New York. www.nsxpo2004.com

For those unable to attend, you can follow the activities with daily updates.

I am able to upload updates but due to a lack of a high speed connection in the hotel I am stuck with a wireless aircard for broadband through cell towers. It is faster than dialup but I need to upload smaller files to compensate for my lack of my usual cable modem. Everyone's patience would be appreciated.

Are you in the Radisson or another hotel? If not at the Radisson, you should bring your laptop over here..... there's high speed in every room. And it's free

I am in the Radisson and finally have my in-room internet access up to a decent speed. There was a problem with the original connection and, although not ideal, it is now faster than my aircard.

p.s. The lobby and bar are "hot spots" for wireless cards and one wing of the hotel is also wireless.

p.p.s. Photos from the Cocktail Reception are now being uploaded.

My host site is down temporarily so there are no photos at the moment. Hopefully, it will be up again quickly so that tonight's party can be uploaded and the other photos become visible again.

My host site is back up again and the photos from the Dinner Dance are now online.

Unfortunately, I have the wrong firewire to upload videos of both the Poker Rally and the lead footed dancers so they may have to wait until I get home unless I can find a Radio Shack or similar store or be able to borrow one from a fellow techno geek at the hotel.

Which one of the photos is Peter Mills in? He was very helpful in answering some of my questions earlier this year, and it's alway nice to put a face to the name.

btw, what's the story behind photo 50/50 in the dinner dance gallery??? Looks like fun!

Lastly... small complaint... is there a reason why the site is sooo slow to access? It takes too long to view pictures, so i'm viewing less than i want too.

Here is a photo of the BAP Racing founders and directors Larry Bastanza, myself and Peter Mills. Bap Racing is powered by Asimo Motorsport.


Photo 50 is a Radical that is owned by CGI Motorsports (Chuck and Phil Mirenda). They parked it out front of the hotel and after the Dinner Dance they were giving a "tour" of it to their fellow NSXers.

Finally, I don't know why it was slow for you because I have not had that problem brought to my attention before. It is working fine for everyone at the hotel (as far as I can tell) except for a while last night when my host site was down. Are you talking about the slideshow galleries? The timer on them is adjustable.

Anyone else having site problems?

RSO: What kind of Firewire cable do you need? I definitely have a 4pin to 6pin and may also have a 6pin to 6pin kicking around.

The website has now been updated to include photos and descriptions of all of the events and activies from Saturday.

FYI - On the Tech and Vendors page, the lime green lettering where you have listed the vendors is hard to read. You might want to change the color so everybody can easily see which vendors participated.

Thanks for the heads up! I am having difficulty logging into my Adminsitrator settings to edit it but I will do so when I figure out what the problem is.
