What a difference a few hours can make on the paint finish.

Some bastards decided to take my car for a joy ride, apparently they took the SC for granted and lost control about 4 blocks from my house. The ended up going through a wood fence and stopping (with the help of a tree). Only good thing since they ran after the accident, they left their head imprint on the windsheild. So in case you are reading this F%$^ Y(*.

NO, even though there was blood everywhere, cops told me it was to expensive to do the whole process(although they Miami CSI guys on TV do it in an hour every week) They pretty much said I was lucky to get the car back with everything still attatched.

Armando, the next time we get together I want you to try and stsrt my car. I have three cut off switches that all have to be switched in the correct direction in order for my car to be started. I once forgot one of the switches was "off" and I couldn't start my car for a hour until I remembered I had turned one off that I usually never touch.

In speaking with a fellow white-car NSXer this afternoon and hearing about the news, my first thought was that this was yet another joke by the MASTER JOKSTER, himself. Then I realized that this is not a joke.

Armando - I have friends that can arrange for facial cosmetic surgery to the small people that did this to your NSX. Furthermore, I will supervise the cranial transformation. Afterwards, we will perform a colon examination with a rather large cucumber

I hate punks and would've shot (with 12-gauge, not no whimpy glock) which the Texas law does allow.

Armando, I can't imagine how I would feel if this were to happen to me and my car, but you seem to be taking it awfully well. God bless you. I'm really disappointed to hear that there will be little done to investigate the crime.

Hang in there. I hope that this was the third (and last) crappy thing to happen to you, because they say that they come in threes.

When I first started reading I though this was a "kids at the dealership took it joyriding" type of incident, and it took a minute to process what exactly happened.

I'd be furious. I'd have bounties/reward offers posted on every car and street racing website, hangout, schools, bars etc. stating there's a reward for information leading to the identity of these a-holes. You know these punks have to be bragging about this.

Anyway glad to see you're taking this well in a calm and civilized manner.
Hope the insurance company shells out the TLC your car needs to get her back running again.

Keep us posted on the progress.

Sorry about what happened, Armando. The shithead that got his head busted will probably need stitches. Perhaps the officer can make a few calls to local hospitals/ERs to look for someone who had head trauma. I have sewn quite a few lacerated heads before. There are always a few guys that look suspicious.

Man that's horrible, I can't believe your luck! You're taking it extremely well -- I would be very upset if I were in your shoes. It may be covered by insurance, but it's just the whole hassle and not having your car etc. I hope you're back up and running soon...
